The Heider College of Business is an accredited member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-AACSB International (graduate and undergraduate programs). The accounting program holds supplemental AACSB Accounting Accreditation from the Accounting Accreditation Committee of the Association. The Executive Healthcare MBA program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
The Creighton University Paramedicine Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Education Programs for the Emergency Medical Services - Paramedic Professions. The program also is approved by the State of Nebraska.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and post-graduate APRN certificate at Creighton University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (www.aacnnursing.org).
The Medical Physics program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP).
The Social Work program, within the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, prepares professional undergraduate social workers and is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Creighton's initial licensure-level educator preparation programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and by the Higher Learning Commission. Additionally, all of Creighton’s educator preparation programs are approved by the Nebraska Department of Education.
The program in dental education is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements.” The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. The Creighton University School of Law is fully accredited by the American Bar Association Section (ABA) of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. The School of Law is also a member of the Association of American Law Schools.
The Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and WFME as the notable authority for the accreditation of medical education programs leading to the MD degree. The medical education (MD) program of the Creighton University School of Medicine has Full Accreditation. The next survey will be in academic year 2027-28.
