Academic Success Policy - Physical Therapy

If a student earns two or more grades of C in the first semester of the DPT curriculum, this will trigger automatic notification of the program director and the academic advisor by the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. The student is then required to meet with the academic advisor and an academic success counselor within two weeks of the start of the Spring semester.  Failure to complete these meetings may result in a professional behavior citation.

The academic advisor will then work in concert with the student to determine appropriate resources given the student’s unique situation.
