Students seeking to register for an elective offered during the same semester as a course in the professional curriculum must discuss and obtain permission from their Academic Advisor before registering for the elective course. Consent from the Instructor of Record for the course may also be required.
Policy on Specialty Tracks
Students have an opportunity to apply to specialty tracks in the fourth semester of the curriculum. If accepted into a specialty track, the student will be administratively registered by the School's Office of Academic and Student Affairs staff for all appropriate courses during the registration period.
Specialty Tracks are currently only offered at the Omaha, NE campus.
Undergraduate Students Enrolled for Elective Coursework
An undergraduate student is allowed to register for an elective course with consent from the Instructor of Record. Permissions are required from the Dean’s Office at each program level UG and PH. The student will be administratively registered by the School’s Office of Academic and Student Affairs. The completed course will be posted to a transcript from the professional school level.
