School of Dentistry (SOD) students, faculty, and staff involved in the direct provision of patient care must be continuously certified in basic life support (BLS), including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). All non-clinical School of Dentistry personnel are not required but are encouraged to complete BLS training and opportunities will be made to them for this purpose. (2026)
