The Heider College of Business recognizes that business should be a positive force in society. Hence, business education must include an appreciation of the relationship between business and social responsibility. Toward this end, the Heider College of Business’ Honor Roll for Social Responsibility honors undergraduate students who take the opportunity to serve their community.
Each fall and spring term, undergraduate students in the Heider College of Business who perform a minimum of 25 hours of confirmed community service and submit a reflection are placed on the Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Responsibility for that semester. Students may be recognized at the Silver Level (25-49 hours), Gold Level (50-74 hours), or Platinum Level (75+ hours). Honor Roll designation appears on the students’ transcripts and students receive a certificate of achievement.
