Students who have successfully earned the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Early Childhood Education at Metropolitan Community College may be eligible to earn the Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education at Creighton University.
To be considered for admission to this program, qualified applicants must show evidence of:
- graduation with a minimum 2.75 GPA from Metropolitan Community College,
- successful completion of the AAS degree in Early Childhood Education with a grade of C or higher in all courses that apply to the degree,
Students who have completed the AAS in Early Childhood Education at Metropolitan Community College will be required to complete a minimum of 48 additional hours at Creighton University. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 is required for graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. This average shall be computed only on the basis of all courses attempted while enrolled at Creighton University in the program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.

Students who did not complete ECED2061 as part of their AAS program will be required to complete the course at MCC or complete EDU 583 Facilitating Student Responsibility at Creighton University.
